Full description
The series includes manuals, training materials and various other records associated with monitoring the performance of the power station plant. The series includes manuals for the operation of entire power stations, or for particular equipment or operations used at one or many of the stations. The manuals of a general nature were usually compiled by the staff training section of the agency while those which relate to specific equipment were often those supplied by the manufacturer. There are also training manuals and other training materials for courses offered at various levels. The series also contains calculations recorded when monitoring the performance of various equipment or processes including heat rate calibrations; 25 AC cycle supply; and ash and coal calorie value. These items record the readings but not the procedures for obtaining them. .
There are some materials which fit into none of these categories including a Report on the Guthega Hydro- Electric Project, and a contract for a steam generating plant at Pyrmont power station.
