Full description
The Annual School Reports were aimed at providing information about the performance of schools. Primary and secondary schools produced the annual report in collaboration with staff, parents, students and self evaluation committees set up within each school.
The reports aimed to provide general information about each school, dividing into four major areas: the school and its achievements, evaluation of key school programmes, targets and school features. These headings covered such issues as student achievements in the arts, sport and citizenship, academic results (including School Certificate and Higher School Certificate achievements), equity programmes such as multicultural and Aboriginal education, programmes to support students with disabilities, vocational education programmes, school attendance and enrolment, retention rates, post-school destinations (e.g. number of students going on to undertake tertiary education), curriculum patterns, staffing, parental involvement in the school, community use of school facilities, and school finances.
The 2001 reports are in bound volumes, and the 2002 reports are on CD-ROM.
