Full description
The Northern Territory is the only Australian jurisdiction which permits public identification of young offenders and yet there has been no empirical study of this practice and its impact on indigenous youth in particular. This study gathers information from key stakeholders, analyses media representations, and examines exemplary cases to explore the consequences of ‘naming and shaming’ at the individual, community and justice system levels.Data in NVIVO format.
