VPRS 11896 Index to Male Prisoner Classification Numbers

Full description

This series covers male prisoners only and appears to have been created to provide easy access to the Male Prisoner Classification Files (VPRS 8818) and Individual Management of Prisoner File (VPRS 11760).

The series appears to have commenced in 1985. It is not known who created the record (whether it was the Classification Office or a division within Pentridge) or whether it contains a complete list of prisoners within the series date range.

Each entry contains the name of the prisoner, their relevant Corrections Record Number (CRN) and the date the prisoner was first received.
