Brief description
This project aims to increase the area of remnant and regrowth native vegetation and enhance fauna habitat and wetland health by revegetating and/or regenerating sections of Fay Smith Wetlands in Maryborough. Priority weeds inhibiting native regeneration will be managed and connectivity within the reserve improved. The project will also target conservation of local flora and fauna species and protection of a wetland of high ecological significance. Participants will develop skills in Conservation and Land Management and gain broader work skills which they will be able to apply in their future careers.User Contributed Tags
