These are a collection of files relating to matters such as cotton; flax improvement; linseed, rice and silkworm production; agricultural seeds regulations; fodder conservation; production of paper from straw; tung oil improvement; inspection of estates for war service land settlement; tobacco investigations; and the Rural Reconstruction Commission.The files have a Department of Agriculture file cover with a file title and file number on the cover. This series consists of correspondence files for the Division of Plant Industry, later Division of Plant Industries, within the Department of Agriculture.
