Full description
Belltrees Public School in the county of Brisbane began as a Provisional School in May 1876. A Provisional School operated in areas of scattered population. Teachers and teaching materials were supplied by the Department of Education and the building was provided by parents.
In September 1879 the school was converted to a Public School. A Public School is a basic elementary school in the NSW education system which offers primary level courses.
