Full description
The Australian film industry research collection is based on a number of essays by RMIT Cinema Studies students who discuss the different workings of the Australian film industry. In creating the essays the students had to create records within the Bonza database that were references for the essays they wrote. The essays focus on various areas of the Australian film industry such as film, exhibition, distribution, funding from the government, and Australian adult films. Within the essays the students have analysed the industry and have drawn conclusions on its operation (and in some of the essays interviews with important people within the industry have been undertaken). The records on the Bonza database are about companies, government bodies, films, and people involved in the films. It is based around the student essays from which the database records were created.
