Full description
The Australian documentary films research collection is based on essays written by RMIT Cinema Studies students who talk about a range of Australian documentary films. The Bonza database holds the references the students created to write the essays. The essays focus on documentary films from different eras and in different guises (for example the Waterfront Workers films to IMAX films) and analyse these films and where they are placed within the Australian film industry. The database records list information about the different documentaries in the essays (like cast and crew) as well as listing critical and popular reception about the films in questions (as in a reference to a newspaper article or book chapter for example).
