Brief description
The Australian National Mooring Network Facility is a series of national reference stations and regional moorings designed to monitor particular oceanographic phenomena in Australian coastal ocean waters. The data files represented by this record contain the aggregated, averaged and regridded temperature time-series profiles measured during mooring deployments. The series of National Reference Stations (NRS) and several regional stations from the "Queensland and Northern Australia", "New South Wales" and "Western Australia" ANMN sub-facilities contribute data to produce the temperature gridded data product presented here. The products in this collection were an early prototype developed solely by the AODN. They are no longer updated, and have now been archived. They have been superseded by new gridded products developed in collaboration with technical experts from the IMOS National Mooring Network and Deep-water Moorings facilities as part of the Moorings Time Series Products project. Since February 2020, the new products are available via a new collection (IMOS - Moorings - Gridded time-series product: https://catalogue-imos.aodn.org.au:443/geonetwork/srv/api/records/279a50e3-21a5-4590-85a0-71f963efab82). They will be regularly updated with new data.Lineage
