The Minerals Separation Ltd Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Minerals Separation Ltd, a small London-based company that was involved in developing a revolutionary technique of ore extraction. The guide documents 116 inventory items, mostly paper files, grouped into three series. These cover administrative files, mining and company files, and patents development and research.The Guide is the output of a research database. It was originally produced in paper form in 1992 by the Australian Science Archives Project. It was published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre in 2004.
The records are located at the University of Melbourne Archives. The collection was listed by Mark Scillio and Gavan McCarthy, with Tim Sherratt.
