This series consists of a single report entitled 'Gold Beef Strip Branding for Consumers in N.S.W' , prepared by C.R. Luckock, Senior Research Officer of the NSW Meat Industry Authority. The Gold Beef strip-branding scheme was developed to improve domestic demand for beef by encouraging consumer confidence in the product. The subjects examined by this report include the design of the gold brand, the type of carcasses to be selected, the scheme’s application and monitoring, product uniformity, advertising, problems encountered, usage and future proposals.
