Full description

This series registers correspondence sent to the Royal Commission on Soldier Settlement (VA 4703). The register gives the progressive correspondence number, details of any attachments, the name of the sender, the number and date of the letter and the subject of the letter. Letters deal with such matters as the administrative arrangements for hearings by the Royal Commission and requests to appear before it.

Loose papers in the volume list the landholders to be interviewed by the Commission with name, address, parish and area.
